We are excited to welcome you to school in just a few short weeks. The school board and staff have worked hard to plan for a safe return and successful school year. At last night’s board meeting the decision was made to begin school at our “orange tier risk level” for the remaining two weeks of the Anchorage Mayor’s reset period. At the end of August, the school board will re-evaluate the situation and update you going forward.
For the “orange tier risk level” students will attend on A/B days from 8am-noon. There is no extended care available. Please speak with Ms. Richmond if you have a question about this. For more details about the “orange tier risk level” please check our school website at www.ajaak.com/covid-19 and call if you have any other questions.***Group A on campus days will be Monday/Wednesdays: Grades PK/K, 2nd, 4th & 5th
***Group B on campus days will be Tuesday/Thursday: Grades 1st, 3rd, 6th & 7th
***Should there be a Monday holiday with no school, Group A will come on Wednesday and Friday instead.
***There will be a daily Zoom Worship and Bible class for all students to attend wether at home that day or in the classroom.
The first day of on campus school for Group A is Wednesday, August 19th.
The first day of on campus school for Group B is Thursday, August 20th.
We will gather for our first Zoom together for Worship and Chapel on Friday, August 21st.
